What to Expect on Your First Visit

Your First Visit
Your initial appointment will include a comprehensive consultation featuring diagnostic imaging such as X-Rays and CBCT scans. During this visit, we will review your diagnosis in detail and discuss appropriate treatment options. In some cases, treatment may be initiated on the same day. However, patients with complex medical histories or treatment plans may require a separate evaluation and a follow-up appointment to begin
treatment.

To help ensure a smooth and efficient consultation, please provide the following at the time of your visit:

  • Your referral slip and any applicable X-rays
  • Copy of drivers license/ID and insurance card – We file Primary Insurance only.
  • A current list of all medications you are taking
  • If you have dental insurance, please contact our office prior to your
appointment to verify coverage and receive an estimate of your portion of the
    treatment cost.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early if you are a new patient, or if you need to update any of your information/health history.

Important: Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the consultation.

We kindly ask that you notify our office in advance if you have any medical conditions that could impact your treatment (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, or a history of rheumatic fever), are currently taking any medications (including heart medications, aspirin, or anticoagulants), or require premedication prior to dental procedures (such as antibiotics).
